Conferences at Cornerstone
Occasionally, we host a special speaker or conference as part of our evangelism and teaching.
Upcoming event
Spirituality Of the Church – 2025 Conference
- When: February 7–8, 2025
- Speaker: Dr. Alan D. Strange
- Where: Cornerstone Church
- Cost: FREE, with lunch served on Saturday
Lectures (Friday evening and Saturday morning)
- February 7, 7:30 p.m. – “The Heavenly King of a Heavenly Kingdom.” Our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed King over all, but his kingdom is not an earthly political kingdom. His kingdom has consequences for everything in this world, but it is a heavenly kingdom ruled by a heavenly King. From John 18:36.
- February 8, 9:30 a.m. – Spirituality of the church more broadly explained, including its connection with growing attention to so-called “Christian nationalism”.
- February 8, 11 a.m. – How the spirituality of the church is biblical and needed to maintain our proper gospel focus; Christian nationalism, however, substitutes for and adds to the proclamation of the gospel.
Speaker: Dr. Strange
Dr. Alan D. Strange is President and Professor of Church History at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. Learn more about Dr. Strange
